HOW DOES WINSTON-SALEM FESTIVAL BALLET RECEIVE ITS FUNDING?

Winston-Salem Festival Ballet is a not-for-profit 501c3 whose funding comes solely from the community it serves. As a funded partner of the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, WSFB is the recipient of grants such as the Organizational Support Grant, Arts in Education Grant which brings dance classes to Forsyth County Public High Schools, and Innovative Projects Grants. Other funding comes from ticket sales, foundation, corporate and individual sponsorships.

HOW DO I RECEIVE THE LATEST INFORMATION ABOUT PERFORMANCES AND SPECIAL EVENTS?

WSFB makes every effort to keep the website current and updated.  WSFB sends out an e-newsletter which is received electronically. The newsletter is sent out on an as-needed basis to be courteous to our patrons and their busy lives. The WSFB Social Media pages also have the latest information posted.

HOW DO I CONTACT THE COMPANY ABOUT PERFORMING OR PARTICIPATING IN A COMMUNITY EVENT?

HOW DO I AUDITION TO BECOME A DANCER FOR THE COMPANY?

WSFB has a boutique company approach to performance and hires dancers on an as-needed project basis determined by the skill set of the role and keep a database of dancer resumes as a resource. We invite interested dancers to send in a resume, full body and head shot, along with a video link. Professional dancers are also invited to inquire about classes with the director.
